Kilauea Volcano, Hawaii

Kīlauea (“Spewing/Much spreading” in Hawaiian) is an active Volcano in the southern part of the Hawaiian Islands, in the United States.
Every now and then lava flows from Kilauea Volcano and enters the ocean in a spectacular dance of fire and water. When the lava enters it vaporizes water and creates a massive clouds of steam. Slowly but surly the lava builds a delta, extending the shoreline of Hawaii. Since January 3, 1983 when lava from the current eruption first reached the ocean through January 2011 (and it is still on going), Kilauea created about 123 squared kilometers of new land!
