Moses Bridge by “RO&AD architecten” in Halsteren, The Netherlands.
“RO&AD architecten” has been asked to design a bridge which will fit nicely into the surroundings of Fort de Roovere and not make the fort’s moat look too different than it was. this design of a bridge which is unconventional and so elegant and yet it solves a simple practicality issue without damaging the beauty of the near environment. The name was not official but it is now famous under that name, as a tribute to the passage in the Biblical narrative of the escape of the Israelites, led by Moses (Crossing of the Red Sea).
