Lopez rolls back the years by recreating her famous plunging red carpet look 14 years

Jennifer Lopez hasn't really aged much over the last 14 years
Feel like you’ve seen this look before? Jen’s dress at last night’s Billboard Awards was very reminiscent of her famous Versace gown from the 2000 Grammys (Picture: John Shearer/Invision/AP)
When most of us look back at pictures of ourselves 14 years ago, be honest, there are mixed feelings: horror at the things we wore (boot cut jeans, low slung to show off our Gossard g-strings, really?); but also a longing for the days when it didn’t take Spanx and a minimum 2 layers of BB cream to get out of the house in the morning.
Not so for Jennifer Lopez. Jenny showed she’s still fresh from the Block by recreating her famous plunging dress from the 2000 Grammys at last night’s Billboard Awards. And the 44-year old didn’t look like she’d aged a day either (grrr).

Jen made all the headlines when she wore the revealing jungle print Versace gown, which was slashed to the navel AND slit to the thigh, back in 2000.
And she took a walk down memory lane on the red carpet at last night’s Billboard Awards in a very similar design, this time by Donna Karan and in a bold red.
The colour may have been different, the pants slightly bigger, and the dress was cinched with a belt instead of a jewelled clasp this time round, but everything else was virtually just as it was 14 years ago. Jen even wore her hair up in the same half pony-tail style.
It’s obviously a look she’s not-so-secretly proud of as she also referenced it in her recent ‘I Luh Ya Papi’ music video, where she wore the infamous print again, this time fashioned into a jumpsuit.

Perhaps the star is in reflective mood given that she was at the Billboards to be honoured with the ceremony’s inaugural Icon Award.
She certainly ensured she looked the part with a further 4 glamorous costume changes throughout the evening, including a slinky catsuit and a fringed gold number worn to open the show alongside Pittbull.
