Morro Rock is a volcanic neck (or lava
neck) stretching as high as 177 meter out of the sea, located just off
the Coastline of Morro Bay, California, in the United States.
It is actually a rocky tidal island. The rock is a part of the “Morro Rock State Preserve” thus Climbing the rock or disturbing the birds around it is not allowed.
